ProductCamp Cincinnati Presentation

I had the privilege of presenting Strategic Thinking at ProductCamp Cincinnati, September 27, 2014.  The presentation was done using the webBook and I gave out a hard copy of the one page summary.  This was well received.

The Strategic Discovery part of Strategic Thinking is a new concept.  The group of 25 or so broke into groups of 5.  One member of each group agreed to be a "guinea pig" sharing something they were currently struggling with and then, with their group, did Strategic Discovery.  Each of the groups shared their results with the larger group.  Participants felt that Strategic Discovery provides value.

It is interesting to note that when the group was asked how many had participated in a strategic planning activity, many hands went up.  When ask how many has participated in a wildly successful strategic planning activity, no hands went up.  But yet all are "doing something."  The Strategic Discovery part of Strategic Thinking is critical.  Think about your own experience.
